Indonesian wrapper tobacco leaves are often dark brown and have neutral flavors.
Philippine tobacco is mild but aromatic

Cigars can be done by hand or machine-made. Handmade cigars will naturally be more expensive and the leaf used to fill the cigars often run the length of the cigar, rather than the shredded filler used in machine-made cigars.

Grown tobacco leaves for wrapping cigars are generally grown in the shade under the tents of cheese cloth because this gives a finer grain and softer leaf. Sun grown tobacco used as filler in cigars will be thicker leaves with more prominent veins.
